Postal email link will cut out telemarketing

A new product has been launched that links email promotions with postal campaigns, claiming to be cheaper and faster than traditional response methods.

The product, created by Themutual.net, will work by sending targeted emails to people who have opted to receive them.

People who receive the email are invited to click on a button and receive details of the particular offer in the post. The programme then tracks who clicks on the campaign, and matches up their postal addresses.

After the request is fulfilled, recipients are then contacted with a follow-up email, asking them what they thought of the sample or brochure they received.
